สถาบันภาษา Languages International (LI Auckland) ก่อตั้งขึ้นเมื่อปีค.ศ.1978 เป็นสถาบันสอนภาษาอังกฤษที่เก่าแก่ที่สุดในนิวซีแลนด์  และเป็นหนึ่งในสองสถาบันภาษานิวซีแลนด์ที่เป็นสมาชิกของ IALC  ซึ่งเป็นประกาศนียบัตรรับรองคุณภาพของโรงเรียนได้เป็นอย่างดี

หลักสูตรที่เปิดสอน

General English full-time หลักสูตรภาษาอังกฤษทั่วไป เรียนเต็มเวลา

โฟกัสทักษะภาษาทั้งสี่ (ฟัง พูด อ่าน เขียน) รวมไปถึงแกรมม่าร์ เพิ่มคำศัพท์ โดยอาจารย์จะเลือกเนื้อหาการเรียนจากตำราชั้นนำ และจูงใจให้นักเรียนสนใจกับการเรียนผ่านการทำกิจกรรมต่างๆ ร่วมกันในชั้นเรียน  

• เน้นพัฒนาทักษะการสื่อสาร เพื่อให้สื่อสารได้อย่างทรงประสิทธิภาพและมั่นใจยิ่งขึ้น
• บทเรียนสนุก น่าสนใจ และท้าทายความสามารถในทุกระดับที่เปิดสอน (8 ระดับ ตั้งแต่ระดับ Beginner ไปจนถึง Post-Advanced)
• นักเรียนหลักสูตรนี้สามารถเลือกเรียนรายวิชาเลือกอื่นๆ นอกจากภาษาอังกฤษ เช่น Film Studies, English for Employment, New Zealand, Media, English for Business และ Conversation  สถาบันให้อิสระนักเรียนสามารถเปลี่ยนวิชาเลือกได้ทุกเดือน 
• สามารถโอนค่าเรียนจากหลักสูตรนี้ไปอีกหลักสูตรหนึ่งได้ เมื่อมีระดับภาษาที่เหมาะสมสำหรับเข้าเรียนหลักสูตรที่สูงขึ้น

English for University (EU) หลักสูตรภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อเรียนต่อมหาวิทยาลัย

The EU courses are organised around practical assignments, doing research, giving presentations, and writing long essays and reports on various topics. หลักสูตร EU เป็นหลักสูตรที่มีแบบฝึกหัดให้ทำหลากหลาย นักเรียนจะมีโอกาสฝึกการทำวิจัย ฝึกการเขียนเชิงวิชาการ เรียนรู้วิธีพรีเซ้นต์หน้าห้องเรียนอย่างเป็นระบบ เรียนหลักการเขียนเรียงความและรายงานในหัวข้อต่างๆ 

The EU courses run at 2 levels, Intermediate and Higher. หลักสูตร EU เปิดสอนสองระดับ คือ EU Intermediate และ EU Higher

You need to complete EU Higher to access the APA, your pathway to university study. เพื่อจะพาร์ธเวย์ไปยัง APA และเข้าเรียนต่อในมหาวิทยาลัยนิวซีแลนด์ นักเรียนจะต้องสำเร็จการศึกษาหลักสูตร EU Higher

EU Higher course requirements: ผู้จะเรียน EU Higher ได้ จะต้องมีคุณสมบัติต่อไปนี้ก่อนเข้าเรียน

• Your English level must be strong intermediate or upper intermediate (equivalent to IELTS 5.5 / TOEFL iBT 46 / PTE 42) to enter EU Higher. You can take our online pre-test and we will assess your English level. If your level is not high enough for EU Higher, you can join the EU Intermediate course or the General English course at Languages International to prepare for EU Higher.
• To be considered for the APA:
  • You have to attend the EU Higher course for all 12 weeks of the course, starting from one of the advertised start dates. You have to attend at least 90% of all classes.
  • You have to complete all the tests and assignments that are included in the EU Higher course. Your teacher will give you a schedule of these at the beginning of the course.
• To fulfil English language admission requirements for university, using the APA, you have to pass EU Higher at the right level. We grade overall performance in EU Higher at 3 levels:
  • Core, equivalent to IELTS 5.5 / TOEFL iBT 70 / PTE 42
  • Competent, equivalent to IELTS 6.0 / TOEFL iBT 80 / PTE 50
  • Strong, equivalent to IELTS 6.5 / TOEFL iBT 90 / PTE 58
